Bic Mechanical Pencil, 11" x 14" Bristol Vellum...

The first "major" composition I had done in nearly 8 years...completed back in 2004...lack of contrast due to my unwillingness to use anything other than a mechanical pencil...eventually I'll graduate to using a variety of leads...

wow. I absolutely love the detail here, especially around the fur and facial features. Your focus on these areas is shown very well. I love the depth of the shading and how this image shockingly looks some what realistic. A very violent blood thirsty looking beast you have developed here. I love the stalker like pose it seems to hold, as if it has just spotted its next meal. Very impressive work for sure.

wow. this is absolutely amazing. the shading and the many datails are impressive in every single way. this counts for the pose and expression as well.....keep up the good work, and i'd love to see more of your art :)
